Access
We provide a free shuttle service to pick you up at Happo information center or JR Hakuba station if you are coming by public transport. We can also book private transport from the airport or Shinkansen Nagano station for you.
Narita Airport to Hakuba
The easiest way to get to Hakuba is taking private taxi from airport. You don't need to carry around your luggage. A dedicated driver will welcome you at the gate to escort you.
The most common and fastest way is taking bullet train. It runs at least two lines per hour. Once you get to Nagano station, you can choose either express bus or private taxi.
If you want to save your time, private helicopter is the best way. It only take about 2 hrs from airport to Hakuba. Please note that helicopter is not always available due to weather, sunset and sunrise time.
How to Get to Hakuba From Major JR Stations
In addition to Shinkansen, there are limited express trains from major city. Please note that the direct train to Hakuba is limited to one per day.
